The first annual Indigo Art and Poetry Fest is happening on May 27th at Capitol Park in Boise, ID from 10am – 7pm. Cost is free!
This festival features local art and poetry readings, showcasing work that tells stories of recovery and healing, to better understand and promote acceptance of mental health awareness.
Meaningful art is near and dear to my heart. You can see the meaningful art I have created by browsing my henna story designs. Mental health is also a near & dear topic for me, as I struggled with depression for 11 years which led into a bad Postpartum depression after my son was born. (See how potty training almost broke me)!
I am happy to be a part of this festival! You will find me at my booth doing one of my favorite things – adorning people with henna. All of my henna story designs will be available to choose from as well as many other designs starting at $5. Please stop by and say hello!
In addition to art, poetry, and henna, you will also find a variety of yummy food vendors and other vendors along with local music. This event is put on by Indigo Idaho and the official Facebook Event can be found here!
See you there!
